Last night I heard Mark Bittman speak – it was like listening to a member of the family! The way he used his hands to speak, his love of food, makes fun of his mother and the fact that he has no filter when it comes to his opinions!
He has a different perspective to food since he is a self-taught cook and through his 3 decades as a food writer and cook, he continues to go back to basics. He keeps things simple – I love that.
