I grew up watching baseball in the San Francisco fog. Not exactly by choice. Being a younger sister to a brother who was/is obsessed with the game, I spent a solid chunk of my childhood watching his games in every freezing cold baseball field in this city and of course, watching The San Francisco Giants. As a little girl, I can remember my brother going through the rules and the strategies of the game, watching him as he screamed at the television with such passion, clapping his hands so hard and so loud it hurt to watch. I had no idea what all the fuss was about, but, because I adore my brother, I watched and watched and watched and now…The Giants are a part of me.

Whether you are a fan or not, watching these guys play their hearts out the last two weeks is a testament of mind over matter. You have to fight for what you want, believe you are worth it and never give up.

Take a lesson from them and learn how to reach your goals.

Decide what you want…what you really want. Take some time and figure it out – What is the lifestyle you want? Keep asking yourself and get down to the root of it until you truly realize what motivates and inspires you.

Figure out how to make it happen. Create a strategy that is in line with your goal, plan in advance and change your routine to make it work. This may be uncomfortable at times but if it is in line with your ultimate goal, it is worth it.

Believe you can do it – just keep telling yourself you can do it – over and over again – just keep believing it will come true. Push the doubts away and stay focused on the prize.

Do not give up. Life happens. Stress happens. Things will indeed get in the way. Stay clear on what you want and get back on the wagon as soon as you can. Keep reminding yourself what motivates you to get you back on track.

Six elimination games and these guys are now headed to the World Series. Anything is possible.

Go get what you want and GO GIANTS!!!
